VetWords Live Raffle Sweepstakes Official Rules

SWEEPSTAKES ENTRY PERIOD
Eligible sweepstakes entries will be accepted during the event dates at ACVIM, taking place in Louisville, Kentucky, beginning on June 19, 2025 at 9:00 am EST and ending on June 20, 2025 at 3:00 pm EST (the “Entry Period”). In order to qualify, all entries must be received during the Entry Period. Void outside of the United States, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, or where prohibited by law.

ELIGIBILITY
Participants must complete the VetWords Live game and show proof of completion to an Instinct Science booth representative to receive (1) raffle ticket, and be:

• Legal residents of the United States;

• Eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry;

• Physically present at the Instinct Science booth #733 during the Entry Period; and.

Employees, contractors, affiliates, subsidiaries, and immediate family members of Instinct Science, LLC and its affiliates (collectively “Instinct Science”) are not eligible to participate. This sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state (including Kentucky), and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited by law.

HOW TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES

To receive one (1) raffle entry:

• Complete the VetWords Live game at the Instinct Science booth #733 and present visual proof of completion to an Instinct Science team member to receive one (1) raffle ticket.

To receive an additional (1) raffle entry (maximum of two (2) entries per person):

• Take a photo at the Instinct Science booth or with any Instinct-branded item;

• Post the photo on any public-facing social media account (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or X/Twitter);

• Tag @InstinctScience and use the hashtag #InstinctScience; and 

• Present visual proof of the post to an Instinct Science team member.

Fraudulent entries, misuse of entry methods, or circumvention of the Official Rules may result in disqualification at the sole discretion of Instinct Science.

No purchase is necessary to enter the sweepstakes.

PRIZE DRAWING & WINNER SELECTION
The prize drawing will take place on or after the conclusion of the Entry Period. Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received.

Winners do not need to be present at the time of drawing but must provide valid contact information when entering. Prize winners will be contacted using the information provided during entry and may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and/or a publicity release, except where prohibited by law.

Secondary Prizes:
(4) Amazon Gift Cards, ARV: $25 each

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Entry Period.

 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & CONSENT
By entering, participants agree to abide by these raffle and giveaway rules and the decisions of Instinct Science, which are final and binding in all respects.

Instinct Science reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the sweepstakes if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the promotion. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law.

BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES, PARTICIPANT AGREES THAT INSTINCT SCIENCE AND ITS AFFILIATED ASSOCIATIONS, SPONSOR, PARTNER COMPANIES, REPRESENTATIVES, CONSULTANTS, CONTRACTORS, LEGAL COUNSEL, ADVERTISING, PUBLIC RELATIONS, PROMOTIONAL, FULFILLMENT AND MARKETING, WEBSITE PROVIDERS, WEBMASTERS, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, AND AGENTS (THE “RELEASED PARTIES”) WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR, AND SHALL BE HELD HARMLESS BY PARTICIPANTS AGAINST ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURIES, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND TO PERSONS, INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH, OR PROPERTY RESULTING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, MISUSE, OR USE OF THE PRIZE, ENTRY, OR PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST OR IN ANY CONTEST RELATED ACTIVITY, OR ANY CLAIMS BASED ON PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION OR INVASION OF PRIVACY, OR MERCHANDISE DELIVERY. THE RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE IF ANY PRIZE CANNOT BE AWARDED DUE TO CANCELLATIONS, DELAYS, OR INTERRUPTIONS DUE TO ACTS OF GOD, ACTS OF WAR, NATURAL DISASTERS, WEATHER, OR TERRORISM. BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES, PARTICIPANT AGREES THAT THE RELEASED PARTIES WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY INJURIES, DAMAGES, OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES TO PERSONS, INCLUDING DEATH, OR PROPERTY ARISING OUT OF THE SWEEPSTAKES.

EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES CONSTITUTES WINNER’S GRANT TO INSTINCT SCIENCE AND THE RELEASED PARTIES FOR THE RIGHT AND PERMISSION TO PRINT, PUBLISH, BROADCAST, AND USE, WORLDWIDE IN ANY MEDIA NOW KNOWN OR HEREAFTER DEVELOPED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WORLDWIDE WEB, AT ANY TIME OR TIMES, THE WINNER’S ENTRY, NAME, SOCIAL MEDIA TAGS, PICTURE, AND LIKENESS FOR ADVERTISING, TRADE, AND PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES WITHOUT ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATION, COMPENSATION, PERMISSION, OR NOTIFICATION. BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY, PARTICIPANT AGREES THAT SUCH ENTRY, COMMUNICATIONS, OR SUBMISSIONS M SHALL BE DEEMED TO NON-CONFIDENTIAL AND NON-PROPRIETARY, AND INSTINCT SCIENCE SHALL HAVE NO OBLIGATION OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO SUCH SUBMISSIONS AND SHALL BE FREE TO EDIT, EXPLOIT, MODIFY, PUBLISH, REPRODUCE, USE, DISCLOSE, DISSEMINATE, AND DISTRIBUTE THE SUBMISSIONS TO OTHERS WITHOUT LIMITATION IN ANY AND ALL MEDIA NOW KNOWN OR NOT CURRENTLY KNOWN, THROUGHOUT THE WORLD IN PERPETUITY FOR ANY PURPOSE WITHOUT COMPENSATION, PERMISSION, OR NOTIFICATION TO PARTICIPANT OR ANY THIRD PARTY.

DISPUTES
Except where prohibited, participant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate federal or state court located in Pennsylvania; (2) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this sweepstakes, but in no event attorney’s fees; and (3) under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these sweepstakes rules, or the rights and obligations of the participant and Instinct Science in connection with the sweepstakes, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules, which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Pennsylvania.

VOID WHERE PROHIBITED
All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Subject to any governmental approval that may be required. Instinct Science reserves the right, without prior notice and at any time, to terminate the sweepstakes, in whole or in part, or modify the sweepstakes in any way, should any factor, event, or occurrence interfere with its proper and legal conduct.
